Another model airplane I am finishing up these days. Sorry, but they are slowing down the comic, I guess >_<
This foam scratch built Boeing B-17 bomber has a wingspan of 96 inches and a length of about 63 inches. She's a box-profile fuselage model. In other words, flat sided and only 3 inches wide. Not truly scale, but REAL easy to build and I am pleased with the way it looks! You can see I mounted the motors way too high up on the nacelles, but that will be less noticeable when the cowlings are fitted. Fixed landing gear. I'm debating whether or not to fit a bomb release mechanism. Should be flight ready by late August 2013.
